Kora Kora Coffee in New Braunfels

When my boyfriend lived in New Braunfels, this was our favorite coffee spot. It has just the right balance of quiet, but not dead. And it has nice-sized wooden tables with sturdy chairs in a cozy, homey environment. We liked to bring our laptops and catch up on errands there. So we like to have some space.

So delighted to have been introduced to the delicous house brew at Oakwood church. Now I come to enjoy coffee on the patio.

When visiting a new town, you want to get your coffee decision right the first time. This place takes coffee seriously and it shows. Excellent coffee, rich and great flavor. Management took the time to explain what roastery they use and it's a cut above the rest. Very happy I chose here

Cute little coffee shop tucked away. The coffee was delicious. The hot chocolate was amazing. The muffins was probably the best muffin I have ever had before. The service was great. Everyone had a smile on their face and made us feel like we were old friends.

While I love the coffee, I always feel like the service could be a little better. I always feel like I’m inconveniencing then when I order here. But other than that - great tasting coffee and cute coffee shop - great for meetings.

Josh and staff know me by name and they also know my drink. It is so refreshing to be more than a number.

I recently started going to Kora Kora. I love the local coffeehouse vibe inside, with many seating options to relax and refresh. There is a beautiful outdoor seating area, as well. I've always received outstanding customer service. The staff are courteous, professional, and a bit laid back. It's a welcomed alternative to the frenetic pace of the chain coffee restaurants. The menu is quite expansive, with many coffee drink choices, baked goods, smoothies. I highly recommend trying Kora Kora.

Very delicious food, great atmosphere but incredibly cold and rude counter service. Come here often and love the breakfast tacos but today the tortillas were raw. I brought them back to the counter and the girl doing her schoolwork didn’t offer apologies of any kind but just said “Oh it’s Los gallos issue not ours”. Unbelievable.

I have been a costumer here for years, and I have to say I have not found a coffee shop quite like it. It is a great place to grab a drink and study, with a variety of table seating choices. You can sit high up, low or at couches, a mini table or a at large dining table. Or you can also sit outside in the courtyard or on the patio.I see large groups here all the time usually working on projects but also just hanging out.The owner has a pretty great selection of drinks on the menu, but if there is something specific you want but don't see they can accomadate your needs and preferences pretty easily. The staff is nice and hardworking. It's a pretty unique place, art for sell on the wall, eclectic seating, they also have mini bookcases and games in the corner (that might be typical for a coffee shop though...). It has it's own trademark vibe. Nothing quite like it in New Braunfels.

Best coffee in New Braunfels! I have tried coffee from all over and this is the first shop where it tastes like real coffee and not just sugar water. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the owner takes the time to talk and get to know his customers making you feel at home every time you swing by. Definitely recommend!

Am so sure I found my winter addiction. The pumpkin muffin was so delicious and moist. And the latte will be my cold night and day warm me up treat.

This is my favorite coffee shop❤☕ in New Braunfels and *all surrounding areas. You see, I'm a sales rep for a company and I travel all throughout Guadalupe, Gonzales and beyond counties. And I love coffee. I've tried all the coffee shops and no one comes close to Kora Kora. There's many reasons for this, the taste of their coffee, price, ambiance, and staff. I feel at home here! Excellent espresso drinks and friendly atmosphere. Josh, the owner, went out of his way to make sure I had a perfect drink- thanks! Great for hanging out and doing a crossword puzzle or chatting with friends.

Great place to relax! Has a neat historic atmosphere and is quiet for studying. The location itself is cool being on a strip of other niche shops. The employees were very friendly. Best of all, the coffee was uniquely delicious with creative flavors and smoothness. They also feature local art that acts as the decor of the room. Great overall experience and I definitely wish to visit again soon.

This coffee shop is a must if you are visiting or live in NB. Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating and both the drinks and food are delicious (and adorable)!

Quite a cozy atmosphere. Relaxing music. Good service. Best of all.. Lattes are superb! The iced and especially the hot. :-)

Nice coffee in a wonderful place

I love this place! We've been in town visiting for a few weeks, frequenting Kora Kora every few days. It's a wonderful place to read, get some work done, and enjoy some awesome coffee. The Ethiopian drip coffee is really smooth, and with a refill if you buy the medium cup, you'll be wide awake for a while! :-) The staff there is great as well, remembering your previous orders and making you feel right at home.

This is an overall good coffee house. Quality coffee drinks with options of almond and hemp milk. Good tacos and other pasty items for breakfast. Quick service. Good price. Cozy ambience. Not too big nor to small. But I could not find any one thing that stood out. Thus, the best aspect that would keep me coming back is the overall quality. Every bit worthy of 4 stars but still lacking 5 star quality.

Really cute place surrounded by plants and other cute shops. I drink my coffee with only milk and no sugar so I can really taste the quality of the brew. Kora Kora's drip is not bad. I enjoyed it and didn't find it too bitter or too light. Just about the way I like it. The seating is spacious and comfy. Felt nice spending time here. Would come back.

My favorite coffee shop in the area and that includes Austin and San Antonio. The coffee is always hot, fresh and very good. The baristas are friendly and efficient. There is a selection of breakfast tacos in the morning and a variety of pastries.

Great coffee shop, Josh is a really cool guy and knows his coffee. Very nice atmosphere in the shop as well as the shopping center around it. They carry single origin coffees as well as blends, they source from local roasters as well as small roasters from Washington. There are also really unique flavored lattes if you enjoy that.

An especially good latte with a delicious scone sitting outside in a warm Texas sun. A great Sunday morning.

Good coffee and nice atmosphere but you know what really grinds my gears? People who can’t do a simple job. I always order the same thing: vanilla latte and a plain bagel with cream cheese. One time they forgot to give me cream cheese. I didn’t think I needed to check my order before I drove off since it was such a simple order. Another time she asked me if I wanted a plain bagel or whole wheat. She asked me this twice and I said “plain”...twice. I did check my order this time before I drove off and she gave me a whole wheat bagel. So I had to sit there at the window and try to get someone’s attention so they can do their job right. I finally let them know that I asked for a plain bagel and then I had to wait some more for them to toast another bagel. I was actually surprised they got it right the second time. I think I’ll stick with Einstein from now on.

Great coffee. A little hidden gem in the newer commercial area of Gruene. Great pastries and artfully crafted coffee drinks. Don't forget to play their daily word game. Only negative is they close early, 6:30 pm most days.

Super friendly staff! Delicious coffee! Chill atmosphere. Not the best spot for a business chat if privacy is a concern. The sitting area is so quiet, everyone would be able to overhear your conversation.

I would highly recommend Kora Kora Coffee to locals and visitors alike. Delicious, high quality coffee at a reasonable price. I always enjoy the atmosphere and the friendly knowledgeable staff. Buy local!

Great neighborhood coffee shop with nice selection of hot and cold beverages. Delicious pastries and hot breakfast items. Very friendly staff. This is wonderful local hang-out that is perfect for relaxing and reading or meeting up with friends and business connections.

Great atmosphere, they really know their coffee but approach it in a way that is not pretentious. Located in Gruene Village which is a very nice shopping center, there are many surrounding shops to check out while you enjoy your coffee or you can just relax at Kora Kora.

The staff were great and the atmosphere is very comfortable. The only reason they got at 3 is because of the fact that they did not live up to the commercial that we saw them on. Other than that it is an okay coffee place to go to.
